Lomond View, Service Manager – Service ManagersI have worked within the care sector in different roles and positions, beginning my career as a care assistant and working my way up to care home manager.
Throughout my career, I have had many opportunities to develop my knowledge further. I took up the position with Holmes Care Group as Lomond View’s Care Manager in 2003, and I built a very strong working relationship with his staff. I am extremely proud of my position within the Holmes Care Family.
In my role as Care Home Manager, I have learned that it is important to be flexible, that kindness and compassion, patience, and a good dose of rationality play a major role in the smooth running of any care home, and most importantly that the residents' wishes and needs are paramount. I also believe teamwork is vital to achieving the task at hand.
At Lomond View, we have a great team of staff who always do their best to care for the residents with the aim of improving the lives of all the residents daily.
