I started working for Kingdom Homes in February 2013 as a Domestic; between 2013 and the beginning of 2020, I gained knowledge and experience in a variety of roles within the company and worked my way up to Senior Carer within Methven House Nursing Home.

I had also completed my SVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care and was about to start my PDA. Unfortunately, COVID hit and this has to be put on hold. I was a Deputy Manager for about a year until I applied for the Managers position at Fernlea House, becoming the Manager in October 2021.
