What does the day of a Staffing Coordinator look like?
A highly organised and proactive professional specialising in agency coordination, workforce management, and procurement processes. Skilled in managing agency bookings and handling all associated administrative tasks. This position operates on a 4 on, 3 off shift pattern, providing a balanced work-life schedule while ensuring consistent support for our agency coordination efforts. Additionally, an on-call requirement will be specified, allowing for flexibility and responsiveness to any urgent staffing needs that may arise outside of regular hours. Occasional travel will be required across our services.
- Manage Agency Bookings: Oversee all agency bookings for the homes, ensuring that staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Raise Purchase Orders: Prepare and submit purchase orders in advance of agency bookings to facilitate timely procurement of services.
- Data Entry in CoolCare: Accurately and promptly enter agency details into the CoolCare system, ensuring all information is up-to-date and reliable.
- Shift Coverage Coordination: Proactively attempt to fill spare shifts with internal/bank staff as the first option to ensure continuity of care and staffing levels.
- Maintain and Grow Bank Staff Database: Regularly update and expand the bank staff database to ensure a pool of qualified candidates is readily available for staffing needs.
- Performance Reporting: Compile and report on agency performance against quality indicators on a quarterly basis, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring high standards of care.
