Heatherfield Care Home, Service Manager – Service Managers

I qualified as an Adult Nurse in 2012 from UWS Ayr after working for an MDT in South Ayrshire Council. I moved to Surrey where I lived for 10 years working within Nursing homes and working my way up from Staff Nurse to Head of Nursing.

I moved into management in 2017 but always remained very much hands-on with my residents and team. Elderly care was where I always knew my favoured field within nursing would be; I believe the elderly deserve the highest respect. Care, compassion and respect are the goals I aim for and this filters throughout the home; Heatherfield is most definitely "home from home", and this resounds amongst the residents and staff.
