What does the day of an Senior Management Accountant look like?
Job Profile:
This requires a detail oriented and analytical professional to lead our pay reform review across the business.
This role will be responsible for reviewing current pay structures, performing accurate and comprehensive pay calculations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policy.
The post holder will design and support the implementation of best practice process for pay reform legislation, providing a clear framework and clear guidance to stakeholders.
The role is fundamental in supporting the payroll and finance functions to ensure all payments are correct and on time each month.
Responsibilities will also include supporting accuracy and integrity across payroll and finance data, identifying and resolving errors, and conducting ad hoc data clean up exercises to maintain compliance, and streamline processes where possible.
Key Responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities:
Pay Reform and Finance
· To complete Pay Reform Holiday Pay Calculations for the Group ensuring that all staff are paid accurately and on time
· To support the finance and payroll team with relevant reconciliations
· To support any data cleansing within the finance remit
· Adhoc support to both the payroll and accounts payable team
· Support with any ad hoc administration duties for the team during any absence as advised by the Chief Financial Officer
· Any other duties as reasonably requested by the line manager
Requirements:
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
· Minimum A-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Math’s
· Experience with manual Pay Reform calculations is desirable
Skills and Competencies
· Intermediate IT skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
· Excellent organisational skills
· Excellent communication skills showing levels of professionalism at all times
· Ability to work confidentially when required
· Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
· Good time management and ability to work to a deadline
· Able to work from home and attend office location on occasions
